I stayed for four nights around my trip to the Inca Trail/Machu Picchu, and would definitely rebook if I am back in Cusco. The staff were so lovely and ready to answer any questions I had. The beds were warm and comfy, even though nights in Cusco are freezing, and I slept really well. The showers were also always hot. Breakfast was something different each day (eg. omelette, pancakes), plus bread, jam, tea and coffee. The only downside is it is further away from the centre than other hostels, but the walk is easy and tour companies will still pick you up directly from this hostel for trips to Rainbow Mountain/Sacred Valley etc.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was amazing and helpful at all times. I noticed they knew everyone’s name which makes you feel at home. I wasn’t feeling good during my stay and they always made sure to ask how I was doing/make me coca tea! The breakfast is included and changes every day which is a plus. This place is amazing if you need some rest/space after long treks (it’s SO quite). However, if you’re traveling by yourself and want to meet other people, this isn’t the place for you. I’m coming back to Cusco next month to do the Inca trail so I will definitely be staying here again!
